SELECTED WORKS

The artwork on this site was inspired by or created on research trips to the Atlantic Forest of Brazil. The first, in 2016-2017 was to various wilderness sites in Rio de Janeiro state and the second in 2024-2025, to forest reserves in Santa Catarina and Parana. They were supported by two Fulbright U.S. Scholar grants and the Fulbright Commission of Brazil.

The scanner images were made possible through the support of private patrons and businesses, special donations by the Epson America Corp. and by artist residencies provided by the Empresa Florestal Gateados, the Herbarium ( LUSC ) of the State University of Santa Catarina and the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden, my Fulbright host.
